From 1974 - 1976 Hans Hofmann went back to school at the Deutsche Aussenhandels- und Verkehrs Akademie – DAV (German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy) in Bremen to get his Bachelor degree in International Logistic. From 1976 through 1979 he spent time with Rhenus WTAG in Frankfurt, Munich, Lagos/Nigeria, Khartoum/Sudan where he worked in the project of Air Charter Business. In 1979, he was transferred to New York where he was working with Fritz Companies until his departure in October 1982 to his final place, Miami.

All in all, Hans Hofmann can look back at over 45 years in the international forwarding business. With his tremendous experience, he is leading H.Y.H. International Cargo Services, Inc. for over 30 years, a company which grew from only 5 people in 1982 to 19 in 2014.

Mr. Hofmann’s philosophy in his business is “never give up”. There are always ways to solve problems for his clients and he does not take a “no” for an answer; instead, he firmly believes that, where there is a will, there is a way and a solution, and, he will never lose a shipment out of his eyes until it is delivered.

Due to this philosophy, H.Y.H. International Cargo Services, Inc. has proven its ability to find connections and the right solutions for our customers. The fact that we exist for over 30 years in the Miami market proves that H.Y.H. is a great choice for your transportation needs and solutions.

On his journey, his wife Yolanda has been playing an important roll supporting him and working actively in the company for many years on the administrative role. She is also a partner during some of the companies’ business trips as she is well known as a kind and caring person.

In addition, his son, Hans Christian Hofmann, joined the company in 2007, as a Licensed Customs Broker, giving the company the possibility to clear in timely manner the shipments that are coming into the U.S. Through his job, Christian is a true clue for the success and transition of the business and is really a pinnacle on the service chain.

This combination of talents, united with the dedicated work of the H.Y.H. International Cargo Services, Inc. employees, gives to the company an important recognition on the market and the possibility to keep growing through the cargo handling needs of its loyal customers.
